Daniela Angelina Jelinčić, PhD, has been awarded the New Central Europe II fellowship program research scholarship at the Institute for Social and European Studies (ISES) in Köszeg, Hungary for the research “Social innovations – innovations in culture”. The aim of the research is to detect and analyse good practice examples which would eventually be transferrable to other countries. Also, the aim is to, based on the analysis of good practice examples create policy recommendations in the field in order to utilize cultural innovations as a means of eradicating poverty; increasing employment; solving burning issues in health, transport or environment protection; creating a more efficient education system; offering new models of urban planning, etc. The research will theoretically analyze social innovations linking them to the cultural sector.
