In the scope of the long-term cooperation with the National Competitiveness Council, in 2010 ongoing research was conducted of factors and results of the competitiveness of the Croatian economy. Targeted research was carried out and short reports written on analyzing the results of the Global Competitiveness Report 2009/2010 WEF and World Competitiveness Yearbook of IMD, as well as the changes in the position of Croatian. The research on the preparation of statistical indicators for Croatia was carried out, as an input to the World Competitiveness Yearbook, IMD. In the framework of the activities of the National Competitiveness Council in drafting the document “Charter for a New Beginning”, a revision of the definition of key indicators and analysis of the feasibility of simulation development projections were implemented.
