The latest issue of SEE-6 Economic Outlook (Vol. 7, No. 1, June 2021) brings an overview of developments in Croatian economy in 2020 and projections of economic growth until 2024, written by Dr Nevenka Čučković from IRMO.
Negative impacts of COVID-19 crisis on Croatian economic growth is among five greatest in the EU member states. On top of corona virus, two devastating earthquakes contributed to the fall of GDP by -8.4% in 2020. Text brings an analysis of impacts of crisis on economic growth as well as on a number of important macroeconomic indicators, such as exports, imports, investments, consumption, employment, inflation rate and others, and provides forecasts of their recovery rates in 2021-2024.
SEE-6 Economic Outlook is a biannual publication in English published by the members of the SEEA association. The publication provides an overview of economic trends as well as short and medium-term forecasts for six countries of Southeast Europe. It is published by the Institute of Economic Sciences in cooperation with the partner institutions from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Slovenia, among which is IRMO.
