Activities will include the evaluation of all key contributions to the development of the Sustainable Tourism Development Strategy until 2030 as well as the National Sustainable Tourism Plan until 2027 (Tourism Development Strategy and Plan) – ranging from an analysis of the current situation, a SWOT analysis, an analysis of development needs and potentials, an assessment of the strategic framework of tourism development in the given period to the vision, strategic goals and implementation mechanisms / key areas of intervention, evaluation of the indicative financial plan, indicators, etc.
Particular attention will be paid to the application of evaluation questions within the following evaluation criteria: relevance, consistency, internal and external coherence and impact of the strategy.
The main goals of the project are to:
– contribute to the quality of the developed Strategy and Plan,
– contribute to an increased understanding of the overall process of strategic planning and evaluation of strategic documents in the Ministry through discussions aimed at raising the quality of the Strategy and Plan (through a reasoned assessment of relevance, justification, consistency, coherence and effectiveness of the strategy).
