Department for Resource Economics, Environmental Protection and Regional Development is engaged in interdisciplinary scientific research and analysis in the field of sustainable development, environmental and nature protection, regional and local development and policy as well as good governance. Particular focus is on: planning, implementing and monitoring of economic, social and environmental policies to support local, regional and national development; research of public policies, defining public policies and public participation in formulating them, especially in the field of environmental and nature protection; research of energy policy and climate changes; regional and local development.
