Marina Funduk, Ph.D., participated as a speaker at the expert Roundtable discussion entitled “The Balkans at a Crossroads: Global Politics Versus Local Interests“ held on 14th May 2019 in Prague, organized by the Metropolitan University Prague. Since 2015, the migration crisis has returned the focus of global actors to the so-called “Western Balkans”, the main topics of the debate were related to key actors and significant problems faced by countries that are still not EU member states.
