The title of this years seminar ,,European Diplomacy Facing Security Challenges’’ indicates serious and unpredictable shocks and threats that the EuropeanUnion is facing. The goal of the discussion was to explain the challenging geo-strategic environment that the EU is in and the perspectives of the potential enlargement on the EU-36. The new security challenges, such as drastic changes in the world order, the spread of disinformation and AI tools, have brought the European Union at the threshold of the reconceptualization of the commonsecurity and defence policy.
