Within the scope of the project, the methodology for the preparation and implementation of cost-benefi t analysis was prepared for the application to the IPA tenders during June 2010 as a basis for evaluating the social benefi ts of building infrastructural objects within the business zones. 20 cost-benefi t analyses were made that are annexed to applications for IIIc IPA Operational Programme for Regional Competitiveness of the Republic of Croatia. Help in making applications was intended for public sector applicants. Along the development of cost benefi t analysis of the project the purpose was to work with benefi ciaries and applicators to IPA tenders and to transfer knowledge. The training for potential users of IPA funds was prepared and conducted, the manual for developing cost-benefi t analysis and the dictionary of key terms used in the economic and fi nancial analysis were made.
