The study analyzes the two-year process of the relocation mechanism that the European Union adopted in the summer of 2015. It demonstrates to what extent the initial goals have been reached, describing the dynamics of the process and the problems the Member States and the European Union as a whole are facing regarding the realization of the planned relocation quotas for refugees. The study entitled The Relocation of Refugees in the European Union. Implementation of Solidarity and Fear was presented at the international conference of Common European Solutions for Migration and Refugees, held in Zagreb, Croatia on 18 September 2017.
